LittleFeet Ofsted reportOFSTED is the government body that inspects childcare settings. We registered as a Daycare Nursery in 2003 and had an Ofsted inspection completed in 2004. Here are just a few of the comments from the report:
Littlefeet have 'sound working relationships with parents. Children relate well with staff and peers.'
'The children are eager to learn and derive a great deal of enjoyment from exploring and choosing from the wide variety of play and learning opportunities available to them.'
'Positive behaviour management strategies are suitable for children's levels of understanding and consistently implemented by all.'
We have recently had another inspection completed in 2006. Here are just a few of the comments from the report:

"Children enjoy a good variety of healthy food that promote their health and development"
"They provide an inviting environment for children and parents"
"Children enjoy a wide range of physical activities both indoors and out which contributes sucessfully towards their good health"
"Children are happy and settled, playrooms are welcoming, stimulating and conductive to children's early learning and self select from a good range of acessible toys and resources"
"A calm, relaxed atmosphere helps children to develop the confidence to form good relationships with staff and peers"
"Comprehensive 'Equal opportunities' and 'special needs' policies are effectively used within the nursery to ensure that children and their families are afforded equal respect and consideration"
"The partnership with parents and carers is good. Staff work closely with them ensuring relevant information is effectively shared"
"Good employment and vetting systems ensure children are well cared for by suitably qualified staff"
