Nursery Environment

Littlefeet Day Nursery offers four rooms for the children in our care, these are as follows:
Creepie Crawlers- 0-1 years
Tiny Tots- 1-2 years
Toddler Room- 2-3 years
Pre- school- 3-5 years
In addition to this we have:
A seperate dining room for children aged 2 and over, the children enjoy many social interactions during their meal times.
A movement room for children to express themselves through movement and play.
Outdoor Area for children to have fun, explore large scale resources, understand the natural world and develop a sense of being safe and secure.

Each child will have their own key person who will act as their primary carer during their time at Nursery, for the time their key person is not present a deputy keyworker will be allocated.

All of our rooms are decorated and furnished in order to give a homely feel for the children, they offer quiet and cosy areas for the children to rest and relax throughtout the day as required. Staff plan many key experiences and planned opportunities for the childen to take part in throughout their day, these opportunities are provided using knowledge of the children and building on their experiences and interests. We believe in acknowledging children's special interests and we will aways follow the child's rhythms of the day. Between the time of arrival to collection we will ensure the children enjoy relaxed times to sleep, rest, eat, drink and have one to one time with their key person and friends. Personal needs such as toileting and nappy changing will be individual respected and cared for, and most importantly throughout the day we will share joyful moments with your child.  
To understand and appreciate what we offer at Littlefeet for you and your child we recommend that you and your family come for a tour, this will give you and your family the opportunity to look around our nursery, meet the staff and for your child to have the opportunity to explore new surroundings and meet other children.
