Arrival & Collection ProcessArrival
On arrival at Little Feet Nursery you and your child will be greated with at the main entrance door by a member of staff. We encourage all Mothers, Fathers and Carers to take your child to thier room.We do require you to sign your child in to the signing in book before you take them to their room. Once you arrive at your room you will be greated by your childs key worker, this is a good opportunity to pass on any information to your childs key worker that you may find we need to know, such as, how your child has been,if they have slept well etc, this will help us to ensure your childs needs are meet. You child will be marked as present on the arrival and collection register at this point.
Once you have settled your child into their room, you will be required to inform the nursery staff of an estimated collection time and the name of the person who will collect your child, this ensures that we have all of the correct information and is in line with our Arrival and Collection and child protection. Please always ensure that you inform staff if someone different will be collecting your child.
Collection
Home time is also a very important time for both the child and you as parents/Carers. This is a time where the staff can share information with you about your childs day such as achivements, meal times, outdoor play, sleep time and so on.So we do strongly reccomend that you come into your childs room to greet them and to talk to the staff.
We may also require your signature for outing forms, Accident forms or madication forms.
If someone is to collect your child that we do not know we will need to issue you with a password for the person to use on arrival. It is also advisable that they bring along their passport with them as identification. Please make sure that they understand the signing in procedure before they arrive.
When you leave the nursery please note the time in the visitors book next to the entry you made when you arrived. If your child is with you please note their time of leaving the nursery next to their entry in the book.
